Bennington Village Fire Department

The Bennington Village Fire Department is a volunteer agency providing fire protection for the village of Bennington. They respond from one station with three Engines, a Ladder and several support vehicles. The Bennington Village Fire Department was established in 1849 under the umbrella of the Stark Hose Company, Putnam Hose Company, Eagle Hose Company and the W.H Bradford Hook and Ladder No.1. In 1997, the four companies came under one roof to form the Bennington Village Fire Department.
